Malvern Take Gold at the Merseyside Girls Football Finals!

Malvern Primary’s Yr 5/6 Girls Football Team fought off tough competition from across Merseyside to be crowned Merseyside Champions!

The finals took place at Halton Select Security Stadium, home of Liverpool and Everton Ladies Football teams, for the second straight year.

14 schools took part, each one having earned their place by winning their respective School Games area qualifying event, and the depth of talent was on show from the start.

After a close group stage, Malvern eventually battled through to the final and won a thrilling game to become the champions of Merseyside!
