Knowsley Sports and Culture Awards 2017

The annual Knowsley Sports and Culture Awards took place on Friday 13th October 2017 at Knowsley Leisure and Culture Park.

Knowsley school sport was well represented, with the borough’s schools and young people taking home a range of awards on a night packed with entertainment from local arstists and performance groups!

The awards rewarded individuals, teams and schools who have made great achievements in sports or culture, or who have helped and inspired others to do so.

Amongst the winners were Zara Shaw from Malvern Primary School, who took home the well deserved award of Young Sports Perfromer of the Year Award, with Katie Piercy from Kirbky High School gaining a very respectable second place.

Numerous schools earned Bronze, Silver or Gold School Games Mark Awards, with St Laurences earning Knowsley’s first Platinum Award, a fantastic acheivement that recognises a school that has been awarded the Gold Award at least four times.
