Yr1/2 Girls Football Active Play Through Storytelling Festival

Type: Celebrate – Festival style events focused on fun and enjoyment of participants to encourage participation with recognition of their efforts and engagement.  These type of events will be aimed at children with little or no interest in sport, children with health related issues due to inactivity and children with low confidence.

Events will typically consist of rotational stations that look to develop new skills, improve health and achieve personal best in a safe environment that will build the young person’s confidence.
Year Group: Yr 1/2
 

Maximum Numbers:

 Maximum 12 schools. Places will be allocated strictly on a first come first served basis and entries will close once the limit is reached.
Squad and Team Size: Maximum 10 girls, aimed at girls who are the least active.
Date: Thursday 22nd June 2023
Time: 1.00pm – 3.00pm
Venue: Halewood Leisure Centre, Baileys Lane, Halewood, L26 0TY
Additional Information: Children will take part in a number of multi skills and football based stations and fun activities. Please note children can dress up as their favourite Disney characters if they wish.
Spectators: Spectators are allowed to attend,
First Aid: All schools MUST have a first aid qualified member of staff with them and a first aid kit.
