KSSP School Games Mark Presentation Evening!

PE Co-ordinators and Headteachers from across Knowsley gathered at Kirkby High School last night to receive their School Games Mark Awards!

The School Games Mark is a government led awards scheme launched in 2012 to reward schools for their commitment to the development of competition across their school and into the community. Participating in this process allows schools to evaluate their PE provision and assists them in developing an action plan for future progress.

It is also an opportunity for KSSP to say a huge thank you to all of our schools for all of their hard work and support and to recognise their achievements!

We were very lucky to have 3 times World Champion and Olympic Bronze medallist Beth Tweddle present the awards, along with telling her story of how PE Teachers and school sport impacted on her own sporting journey.

Thank you to everyone who attended and for all of your continued support and hard work!

See below for some photographs from the evening and a table with full list of the school’s awards.
